Ear candling, demonstrated

Three films from our own archive, showing how a candle is fitted, lit, watched and put out.

Watch these before your first session rather than during it. The point of them is the sequence and the safety: where the disc sits, how the candle is held, what the stop line looks like when the flame reaches it, and how the candle goes out.

Ear candling is for adults and needs two people. It does not remove ear wax. Nothing in these films is a treatment for anything.

Using the candle

Short clip

The short clip is titled for wax removal in our own archive, which is how it was labelled years ago. It shows a candle burning beside an ear. It does not show wax being removed, because that is not what happens.
