Paying for your order

What you pay

The price on a product page is the price you pay. Delivery is free on every order with no minimum spend, and no sales tax is added at checkout. Your cart total will never go up between the cart and the payment page. It can go down, if you have a discount code to apply.

The two ways to pay

Card. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's own payment page, not on ours.

PayPal. With or without a PayPal account. If you do not have one, you can use an ordinary card through the PayPal checkout.

What we can and cannot see

We never see your full card number. Our payment providers hold that on their own systems, and we see only the last four digits on the order record.

We have no ability to charge you again, to set up a subscription, or to bill you monthly. The only transaction we can perform after a payment is a refund.

Security

Every page of this site, including the cart, is served over HTTPS, and the payment page itself belongs to Stripe or to PayPal rather than to us.

We used to display third party security seals here. We have taken them down, because a badge is not evidence and the certificate they referred to is not the one this site runs on.

Refunds

Returns and refunds are set out in full on our refunds and returns page. In short: 15 days from delivery, in original condition and packaging, with the original processing and shipping cost deducted from the refund. Anything faulty, damaged or wrong is our problem and we fix it at our cost.

This page used to promise a "100% money back guarantee", which is not what our returns policy says. The policy is the accurate version and it is the one that governs your order.
